Scores of Flyovers dot the city’s landscape and Delhites are never far from DMRC’s (Delhi Metro’s) barricades in the busiest of places. Well everything comes for a price. Fair enough. But there are stories to be told, away from the flyovers and away from the barricades. Its the story about the daily wagers who keeps the construction ticking, the sun scorched faces that carry the brick on their head from the truck to the track. And it is the story of such children born to such parents, tied to their livelihood, tied to their circumstances, tied to the window.

A friend pointed out that the snake charmer on the right looks a bit scared to be charming the snakes. In reality, he is playing an instrument secured under his arms and he was moving forward and backward while playing it.
