It was yet another fortunate day for me. The jeep was getting a new body and I happened to be at the right place at the right time.

I recently completed my ride to Arunachal on a Royal Enfield. However, I did not ride this time. I was doing it pillion, constantly shooting. This was shot on our way between Aalo and Mechuka, near the village of Tato in Arunachal Pradesh.

It was probably during the smoke after lunch at work, when we decided to do it the same evening. My teammate, Nayan opposed to the idea for some practical reasons. We had never tried doing it in any other time, except daytime. Lighting was a concern. We did not have specialized lights for the shoot. However, everything appears to have gone well. Thank you Lubna, Nayan and Rin for your time and suggestions. That made a lot of difference. And last but not the least, a big THANK YOU to the lone Fluorescent tube hanging from the wall.

I was half willing to do another paint-photo this Sunday for several reasons. I wanted to study the previous day’s work before starting another shoot. However, things tend to happen no matter how you wish it to work otherwise. The only thing I did between sunrise to sunset was paint, paint, paint and shoot, shoot, shoot and I painted two faces. Happy and tired.
